| According to the Ohio EPA, the Upper Olentangy River Watershed is impaired primarily by nutrient enrichment and stream and habitat alterations. Similar to other watersheds, the majority of the river miles are impacted by nutrient enrichment. Such severe river and stream impairments commonly result from human development, inadequate agricultural practices and land use changes in the surrounding area. | |
