Upper Auglaize River Watershed

Scenario 3 - Consequences of Watershed Growth Over Time

Scenario 3

Growth Controls

Growth controls in addition to mitigation efforts implemented in the Upper Auglaize River watershed cannot revert the very poor quality site but do succeed in retaining and eventually approaching the current water quality status after 40 years. Additional growth regulations significantly reduce the adverse affects of urbanization. In this scenario, the addition of growth controls with mitigation efforts have greatly assisted in keeping additional degradation in check throughout the later portion of the time frame.
