| According to the Ohio EPA, the Lower Little Miami River Watershed is impaired primarily by nutrient enrichment and sedimentation. Similar to the Big Darby Creek Watershed, nearly 90% of rivers and streams are impacted by nutrient enrichment. Such severe river and stream impairments commonly result from human development, inadequate agricultural practices and land use changes in the surrounding area. | |
