Growth Controls

Growth controls in addition to mitigation efforts implemented in the Lower Great Miami And Whitewater River watershed succeed in slowing the decline in water quality status. Additional growth regulations significantly reduce the adverse affects of urbanization during years 30-50. In this scenario, growth controls and mitigation efforts have greatly assisted in keeping additional degradation in check throughout the later half of the forecasted time frame.
