| According to the Ohio EPA, the Big Darby Creek Watershed is impaired primarily by nutrient enrichment and sedimentation, but other habitat alterations also significantly impact this watershed. Over 90% of the rivers and streams in this watershed is affected by nutrient enrichment. Such severe river and stream impairments commonly result from human development, inadequate agricultural practices and land use changes in the surrounding area. | |
